Un jardin de roses (A Rose Garden)

Singer-songwriter Geneviève Labbé has shared this music video that puts an excerpt of a prayer by Abdu’l-Baha to music. The song was created by Alexandre Evans and Micha Evans and Geneviève produced the video.

The song is based on the following prayer in French:

Ô Dieu compatissant, grâce te soit rendue ! Tu m’as éveillé et rendu conscient. Tu m’as donné des yeux qui voient et des oreilles qui entendent, tu m’as conduit vers ton royaume et amené dans ton sentier. Tu m’as montré le droit chemin et tu m’as fait pénétrer dans l’arche de la délivrance.

Ô Dieu, que je reste constant, ferme et fort ! Préserve-moi des épreuves violentes, protège-moi et abrite-moi dans la forteresse inexpugnable de ton alliance et de ton pacte. Tu es le Puissant. Tu es celui qui voit, celui qui entend.

Ô Dieu compatissant, donne-moi un cœur qui s’illumine, tel le cristal, à la lumière de ton amour et, par les effusions de la grâce divine, accorde-moi des pensées susceptibles de changer ce monde en un jardin de roses.

Tu es le Compatissant, le Miséricordieux, le Grand, le Bienfaisant.
