Baha’i Blog Studio Sessions is an initiative where we invite Baha’is and their friends from around the world to come into a studio and share the Baha’i Writings put to music.
In this Baha’i Blog Studio Session, we’re in Hluboka nad Vltavou, Czech Republic with Victoria Jane Leith and Tom Leith singing “Lion Roar” based on the Writings of Baha’u’llah.
This song was filmed and recorded in Hluboka nad Vltavou, Czech Republic on 23 March 2021, and the music was composed by Victoria Jane Leith.
O thou lion-hearted soul,
Rumi, as quoted by Baha’u’llah in Call of the Divine Beloved
Even as a lion roar,
That thy roaring may perchance
To the seventh heaven soar!
All Praise be to Him Whose Essence is immeasurably exalted above the strivings of human hearts, however pure, to soar into the atmosphere of His nearness, and Whose Being is immensely sanctified beyond the exertions of human minds, however lofty, to ascend unto the heaven of His presence.
Baha’u’llah, Call of the Divine Beloved
