Hi,
Does anyone else take note that a very key feature to understanding the Bahai teachings, the Faith and it’s very core, is related to Baha’u’llah, the founder of the Faith? But that he is not mentioned once? It is misleading in that it doesn’t mention the founder of the Faith, or the herald of his new teachings, The Bab. It gives no indication of any of the history of the faith, nor who it’s founders were, just that it was founded in 1844 in Iran. Thank you for an opportunity to post this.

Relevant to your expressed concerned; note the the purpose of the ‘platform’ as I understand it. Hopefully correct. I appears to be a channel of communication and sharing social and spiritual concepts of humanity’s search for answers to ‘Our’ Questions and heartfelt concerns for a suffering humanity. If should be a form for reaching a more full understanding of the nature of Divine Dispensations; the Product and source of spiritual/metal illumination. Though this channel, Reddit, will guide some people to learning about Baha’u’lláh, it is not a proclamation of His Cause. It is rather an open platform for respectful rational exchange of ideas. It is hoped that learning and sharing will be the principal stream. I love to learn what My Human Family is doing and hope others will desire that also.

In response to the comment by PimaBahai9. Hello. I was commenting about the video that CBS ran. I kept hoping that it would mention Baha’u’llah. Usually teaching or sharing information about the Faith in media does mention him in the context of sharing his teachings or the Bahai faith.
You mentioned this platform/ or Reddit and Im not commenting about either one~ I am not sure if there is some misunderstanding, seems like it. Thanks for commenting though. My comment doesn’t have anything to do with this particular platform/…ie, the Blog, or Reddit.
This was not my intent to comment about sharing specifically about Baha’u’llah on the blog or on Reddit? Not even sure how Reddit comes into the picture. Sorry.
I found that the CBS news coverage was enlightening and exciting to see, and well done, but if I were not a member of the Faith it leaves the impression that it’s somehow a lovely belief system, but has no mention of who founded that belief system. It seemed that mentioning the founder of the Faith would allow for cohesive understanding of not only where it originated, (they mentioned Iran in 1844) but that there was someone central to these new teachings about unity and the Oneness of religion.
