Baha’is believe in the power of prayer and you’ll find Baha’is and their friends, throughout the world, getting together to pray. This is often referred to as a ‘devotional gathering’ or ‘devotional meeting’, and they happen in diverse settings, whether in cities or villages.
At some point in our lives, we all suffer from illnesses of the body or the mind and we face tests and difficulties. This collection highlights resources dedicated to physical and spiritual health and well-being, healing, resilience and overcoming challenges.
BWNS: Clinic in the DRC Promotes Discourse on Health
This video from the Baha’i World News Service (BWNS) describes how a health center in the village of Chanjavu in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, took a novel approach to addressing the issue of an increased incidence of water-borne diseases, by promoting a local discourse on health.
