Ridvan, also known as the Most Great Festival, celebrates Baha’u’llah’s time in the garden of Ridvan on the outskirts of Baghdad in 1863 when He publicly declared His station as a Manifestation of God. The Ridvan Festival is 12 days long and is also the time of year when Baha’is elect their governing bodies.
A special virtual celebration in honor of the 12th day of the Festival of Ridvan has been offered by the Baha’i House of Worship for North America. The temple’s staff worked with volunteers who recorded themselves singing or saying selected prayers. These videos have been edited together, along with those of previous devotionals held at the House of Worship, in order to provide you with a special program for this holy day.
