  • June 18, 2023 will mark 40 years since 10 Baha’i women were hanged in Shiraz. Their only ‘crime’ was their refusal to renounce their beliefs in a faith that promotes the principles of gender equality, unity, justice, and truthfulness. This collection highlights Baha’i Blog content relating to the ongoing persecution of Baha’is in Iran.

Abdu’l-Baha at Christmas

December 23, 2022, in Videos > Short Film, by

This animation shares some short vignettes and accounts of Abdu’l-Baha’s travels in the west during the Christmas season. The accounts are from God Passed By by Shoghi Effendi, and Abdu’l-Baha – The Centre of the Covenant by H.M. Balyuzi. We are thankful to George Ronald Publisher, who owns the copyright of H.M. Balyuzi’s book for their permission to use excerpts from the book.

Curious to read more? We have articles on the Station of Jesus Christ in the Baha’i Faith (which you can also listen to if you prefer), what Christmas means to Baha’is, a Christmas wish for peace.
