Ridvan celebrates Baha’u’llah’s time in 1863 in the garden of Ridvan in Baghdad when He publicly declared His station as a Manifestation of God. The Ridvan Festival is 12 days long and is also the time of year when Baha’is elect their governing bodies.
Art Talks is an event in Melville, WA, which combines artistic expression and spirituality in a beautiful way. The organizers were inspired by a recent message from the Universal House of Justice that states:
“…the arts as a whole, so integral a part of the development of a community from the start, stand out in such settings as an important means of generating joy, strengthening bonds of unity, disseminating knowledge, and consolidating understanding, as well as of acquainting those in the wider society with the principles of the Cause.”

This little video gives us a glimpse of the event, along with the reflections of attendees. If you’d like to get involved in Arts Talks and you’re in the Perth area, you can contact your local community or email [email protected]
