Baha’is believe in the power of prayer and you’ll find Baha’is and their friends, throughout the world, getting together to pray. This is often referred to as a ‘devotional gathering’ or ‘devotional meeting’, and they happen in diverse settings, whether in cities or villages.
This year a new section was added to Bahai.org all about the Baha’i, or Badi, calendar. It’s an exciting development! It’s been several years since the worldwide adoption of the Badi calendar for Baha’i communities all over the globe, but this two-part video series by the Baha’is of New Zealand beautifully sets out to explain some of the questions I’m still working to better understand and internalize.
Lastly, you can find all the significant dates of the Badi calendar for this year with their corresponding dates on the Gregorian calendar on Bahai.org and on our “calendar” page.
