Festival of Ridvan

  • Ridvan celebrates Baha’u’llah’s time in 1863 in the garden of Ridvan in Baghdad when He publicly declared His station as a Manifestation of God. The Ridvan Festival is 12 days long and is also the time of year when Baha’is elect their governing bodies.

Jimmy Seals of Seals & Crofts Tribute

June 15, 2022, in Videos > Short Film, by

James Eugene (Jimmy) Seals, one half of the soft rock duo Seals and Crofts, best known for their songs “Summer Breeze” and “Diamond Girl”, has passed away 6 June 2022 aged 79. His family describes him as a musical genius; he could play anything he picked up. Jimmy Seals became a Baha’i along with his bandmate Darrell (Dash) Crofts in 1966.

After concerts, they would invite members of the audience to stay and hear about the Baha’i Faith. After the height of his musical career, Seals and his family moved to Costa Rica to share the transformative message of Baha’u’llah.

We offer our sincere condolences to his wife Ruby and children Joshua, Juliette, and Sutherland.
