in Explore > Themes

Baha’is champion rationality and science as essential for human progress. The harmony of science and religion is one of the fundamental principles of the Baha’i Faith, which teaches that truth is one and that religion, without science, soon degenerates into superstition and fanaticism, while science without religion becomes merely the instrument of crude materialism.

June 19, 2017, in Audio > Talks, by

This is a talk by Dr. Marjan Davoudi called Where Science and Spirituality Meet with Love given at the Grand Canyon Baha’i Conference (Phoenix, USA) in December, 2016.

In this presentation about “love” by Dr. Davoudi, she explores scientific findings, specifically in the field of neuroscience, and also mystic schools of thought on spiritual love, and looks at where these schools of science and spiritual thought meet with love in one place.
