When I Breathe: A New Music Video by Karim Rushdy

“When I Breathe” is the final song from Thief in the Night, an album in honor of the bicentenary anniversaries of the Births of Baha’u’llah and the Bab. Thief in the Night was created by NKAK, a group consisting of Nabil, Karim and Anise K.

Karim shared the following:

“I wrote this song after a youth week at Sylvan Lake Baha’i Centre in Alberta, Canada when I was 17 years old. During the week at camp, we studied stories from the history of the Baha’i Faith with a focus on the heroic stories of the immense sacrifice and struggle that many of the early believers faced. I am so thrilled and excited that I can now, 15 years later, share these inspired lyrics with the world. I hope that other Baha’i youth out there who are currently 17 will be inspired to study those stories which are what confirmed me in my faith.”

This music video was produced by Jordan Raj, lyrics by Karim Rushdy, guitar by Nabil Moghaddam, composition and production by JC, and mixing by JC.
