Baha’is believe in the power of prayer and you’ll find Baha’is and their friends, throughout the world, getting together to pray. This is often referred to as a ‘devotional gathering’ or ‘devotional meeting’, and they happen in diverse settings, whether in cities or villages. These gatherings are open to all and are intended to embrace that attitude of prayer and practice of devotion that is universal to all religions.
Relierlescoeurs.org is an initiative of the Regional Baha’i Council for Quebec (Canada) and it features music, readings on a variety of themes such as hope, unity and patience, and art — all with the aim to inspire and uplift our hearts, our thoughts and our actions.
The name of website translates to “binding the hearts” and it is hoped that the resources found there will assist with the development of devotional meetings. If you’re curious to know about devotional gatherings, you may be interested in this short introductory animated video or this Baha’i Blog article called “What Is a Devotional Gathering or Devotional Meeting?“.
The art represented and the people seen in the site’s introductory video come from and represent different parts of Quebec however the website is a treasure trove for anyone seeking French-language devotional resources.
