Festival of Ridvan

  • Ridvan celebrates Baha’u’llah’s time in 1863 in the garden of Ridvan in Baghdad when He publicly declared His station as a Manifestation of God. The Ridvan Festival is 12 days long and is also the time of year when Baha’is elect their governing bodies.

April 2, 2014, in Articles > News, by
Official universal house of justice website

Baha’i Blog is so excited to share the news of the launch of the new official website for the Universal House of Justice, the governing body of the international Baha’i community.

The website provides general information about the Universal House of Justice and it also provides selected statements and letters that have been written by, or prepared under its supervision, such as Who Is Writing the Future? and the 2002 Letter to the World’s Religious Leaders.

The Universal House of Justice is democratically elected every five years by representatives of over 170 national Baha’i communities, and the most recent election took place in April 2013, which was also the 50th anniversary of when it was established.

You can view the new official website for the Universal House of Justice at: universalhouseofjustice.bahai.org

To me this is so wonderful, so amazing and such a light for our world. Now more people can find the light if they are searching. Thank you for assisting in putting it together and out for our ill world to find.
