Festival of Ridvan

  • Ridvan celebrates Baha’u’llah’s time in 1863 in the garden of Ridvan in Baghdad when He publicly declared His station as a Manifestation of God. The Ridvan Festival is 12 days long and is also the time of year when Baha’is elect their governing bodies.

Horizons – A New Australian Baha’i Website

April 18, 2024, in Articles > News, by

Australian Baha’i Horizons is a brand new online magazine of insights, stories and reflections from the Australian Baha’i Community. The site exists to share news, community-building endeavours, individual initiatives, events and announcements from across the country in a public, easily accessible format.

The editorial team for the new site writes that:

The National Spiritual Assembly [of Australia] has lovingly invested in the production of this news website in order to further reflect the developments taking place across the county, to strengthen the ties between the three protagonists of the Plan – the individuals, institutions and the community, to facilitate a flow of guidance, and to spur the well-wishers of humanity along their pathway of service.

Horizons Editorial Team

Where previously only Baha’is in Australia had access to monthly news stories from around the community, this new website allows anyone participating in the community, no matter their level of involvement, to keep up to date, be inspired and contribute.

You can visit Horizons here, and be sure to subscribe to receive the monthly update!
