June 18, 2023 will mark 40 years since 10 Baha’i women were hanged in Shiraz. Their only ‘crime’ was their refusal to renounce their beliefs in a faith that promotes the principles of gender equality, unity, justice, and truthfulness. Dr. Hossain Danesh was the Founder and President of the International Education for Peace Institute, and was a professor of Psychiatry (University of Ottawa) and Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution (Landegg International University), and the author of many articles and 11 books in his fields of specialization.
