Declaration of the Bab

  • In 1844, Siyyid Ali-Muhammad (known by His title, the Bab, which means "the Gate") announced that He was the bearer of a Divine Revelation whose aim was to prepare the world for a Messenger of God--Baha'u'llah. The anniversary of that declaration is celebrated by Baha'is and their friends all over the world.

“Looking Ahead on This Path…”

March 18, 2023, in Music > Community, by

The Baha’is of Auckland have shared this song based on the 30 December 2021 message from the Universal House of Justice. The excerpt sung is:

“Looking ahead on this path, might we not perceive Baha’u’llah Himself, the reins of humanity’s affairs in one hand, His other beckoning all to hasten, hasten?”

You can read the 30 December message in its entirety on the Baha’i Reference Library or listen to an audio reading of it on Baha’i Blog’s YouTube channel.

You can find more Baha’i-inspired music from the Baha’is in Auckland online.
