June 18, 2023 will mark 40 years since 10 Baha’i women were hanged in Shiraz. Their only ‘crime’ was their refusal to renounce their beliefs in a faith that promotes the principles of gender equality, unity, justice, and truthfulness. This collection highlights Baha’i Blog content relating to the ongoing persecution of Baha’is in Iran.
Baha’i Blog’s “Studio Sessions” is an initiative where we invite Baha’is and their friends from around the world to come into a studio and share the Baha’i Writings put to music.
In this Baha’i Blog Studio Session, we’re in Helsinki, Finland with Mona Frooghi, Dibo Akale and Nachidah Frooghi who sing “O Dieu, mon Dieu (O God my God)” in French, from the Writings of the Bab and Baha’u’llah.
This song was filmed and recorded in Helsinki, Finland, November, 2016.
Lyrics & Quotes
O Dieu, mon Dieu…
Désir de mon coeur…
Glorifié sois-tu O Seigneur mon Dieu. Tu es en vérité le Roi des Rois.
O God, my God…
My Adored One…
My Heart’s Desire…
Glorified art Thou, O Lord my God! Thou art in truth the King of kings.

Randomly bursting into song is a daily occurrence for Jordan, something which his friends find both hilarious and terrifying, however, for their own survival, they have grown accustomed to acts of randomness. Growing up in both the Czech Republic and Australia, and looking like he’s from neither, Jordan took to creating Youtube videos from a young age, the intention of his content is to make people happy and hopefully spread some positivity juice. He is now studying Media in Melbourne Australia, and singing for his classmates. (he really does not sing that much)
