The Birth of Baha’u’llah

Mirza Husayn-Ali, who is known to the world by His title, Baha’u’llah, was born in Tehran, Iran on 12 November, 1817. Baha’u’llah means “Glory of God” in Arabic and He is the Prophet-Founder of the Baha’i Faith. The anniversary of the day He was born is celebrated alongside the Birth of the forerunner of His Revelation, the Bab. These Twin Holy Days are celebrated annually as one festival where the closely interwoven missions of these two Divine Luminaries are remembered together.

Baha’u’llah: The Divine Physician – A New Video from the Baha’is of the UK

“Baha’u’llah: The Divine Physician” is a 17 minute video produced by the National Spiritual Assembly of the Baha’is of the United Kingdom. It features youth and junior youth from diverse backgrounds, and from different parts of the UK, discussing the problems facing the world today and how Baha’u’llah’s message offers a healing remedy to address these issues. Animated sequences illustrate aspects of Baha’u’llah’s life, mission, and teachings.

I love that the youth are representing what unity looks like and how we should treat one another. Children make the best teachers.
