Naw Ruz marks the end of the Fast and the beginning of a new year in the Baha’i calendar. Naw-Ruz is a celebration of a “spiritual springtime” that symbolizes both individual renewal and mankind’s revitalization.
‘Human Spirit and Eternal Life’ is a talk that was given by former member of the Universal House of Justice, Mr. Hooper Dunbar, at the Texas Baha’i Bluebonnet Conference in Austin, Texas in February, 2011.
In this talk, Mr. Dunbar shares his thoughts and reflections on the significance of this life and the next. He draws on quotations from the Baha’i Writings about our role and responsibilities and how we can thirst after spiritual perfection and “live the life.”
From 1988-2010, Mr. Hooper C. Dunbar was a member of the Universal House of Justice, the governing body of the Baha’i International Community. Mr. Dunbar is the author of numerous literary works, and he is also an artist whose works have been exhibited at several prominent international venues.
