Ayyam-i-Ha is a Baha’i festival that is joyously celebrated in countries and territories all over the world. It is a time of hospitality, generosity, and caring for the needy. It typically falls around the end of February and beginning of March and it is either four or five days long.
Baha’is see the young as the most precious treasure a community can possess. In them are the promise and guarantee of the future. Yet, in order for this promise to be realised, children need to receive spiritual nourishment, such as can be found in the children’s classes happening all around the world.
A lot of my friends are always telling me that we really need more resources to support our Baha’i holy days and celebrations.
So, to help with your Ayyam-i-Ha celebrations, I am absolutely delighted to let everyone know about the digitally restored and remastered re-release of the Happy Ayyam-i-Ha album by William Sears and the Ayyam-i-Ha Kids!
For those of you who have never heard of it – the Happy Ayyam-i-Ha album is simply a classic. It blends the wonderful storytelling of Hand of the Cause of God Mr. William Sears with sing-a-long songs performed by children.
Released in 1979, the album received the 1979 Christian Angel Award for the ‘Best Children’s Album of the Year’, and it was the first time in the association’s history that the Angel Award had been given to a non-Christian group.
The Happy Ayyam-i-Ha album had a profound effect on me during my childhood and I know that so many Baha’is around the world consider this the soundtrack of their childhood during the Ayyam-i-Ha season.
This classic album is still as awesome to listen to as it was back when I was a child, so if you still haven’t heard it, or if you’re looking for a great gift or for something the whole family can enjoy – then I highly recommend it!
You can buy physical copies of the Happy Ayyam-i-Ha album or download the digital version instantly from 9 Star Media.
Also, a special thanks to Jon Rezin of 9 Star Media for working on remastering the album and making it available to everyone again!
Happy Ayyam-i-Ha Everyone!

I would like to thank very warmly those who have redone this record. It is a precious one. It helped us to make this Baha’i feast a joyful one for our daughters and the kids who were playing with them. More, we had the chance to meet William Sears several times in Africa or Haifa.
After enjoying the Feasts with my children in Ethiopia, Kenya and France, I change of generation and, alone by now, I enjoy it with my grand children in Australia. “The World is one” He said !
But my old vinyl record had got problems while moving and, like anything, comes the time to be replaced for newer, better one. Thank you again for letting me able to replace it for modern device and pass it to this new age children. A great help for concerned parents !

Does anyone know who wrote the Ayyam-i-Ha song, because some Baha’is here in Ecuador have used the melody, but changed the words to teach everyone about Huquq’u’llah. We want to have the composers clear permission to use it.
