This music video for a song in Italian called “Un Pensiero di Pace” (A Thought of Peace) was filmed with over 200 participants from all over Italy! Its aim was to share a message of peace and solidarity in this particular time during the global health crisis due to COVID-19, and it was organized by a group of Baha’is in Italy.
This song is based on a quote from a talk given by Abdu’l-Baha
When a thought of war comes, oppose it by a stronger thought of peace. A thought of hatred must be destroyed by a more powerful thought of love.
Abdu’l-Baha
The song was originally composed by a young Baha’i named Antonino Mirra, as part of a musical initiative by a group of Baha’i musicians, singers, sound technicians, composers and collaborators in Italy, who came together to create an album called “Il Cerchio dell’Unità” (The Circle of Unity) in honor of the Bicentenary of the Birth of the Bab.
In this version of the song produced and led by Italian singer/songwriter NAIM, whom we’ve interviewed here on Baha’i Blog, and also did a special concert with called “Una Serata con NAIM (An Evening with NAIM)”, we see over 200 participants join in from all over Italy!
Enjoy!
