Ridvan celebrates Baha’u’llah’s time in the garden of Ridvan where He publicly declared His station as a Manifestation of God. The Ridvan Festival is 12 days long and is also the time of year where Baha’is elect their governing bodies.
This is the official music video for the song Treasure, by Phoenix-based Baha’i rapper Colby Jeffers and featuring Joel, Bill, Kishan, DJ, and Jose Maria.
Colby aims to deliver socially and spiritually conscious hip-hop music, and his songs explore his creative process as a rap artist, which include turning to God and the scriptures of the Baha’i Faith for inspiration when writing his lyrics. This song was written as an ode to Baha’u’llah, the Prophet-founder of the Baha’i Faith, and this year marks the bicentenary of His Birth celebrated this year by Baha’is and their friends around the world.
