Naw-Ruz

  • Naw-Ruz marks the end of the 19-day Baha’i Fast, which is a period of reflection and profound spiritual reinvigoration, and the beginning of the Baha'i new year. Naw-Ruz is a celebration of a “spiritual springtime” that symbolizes both individual renewal and mankind’s revitalization.

30 Prayers for Healing & Times of Tests

October 6, 2022, in Music > Studio Session, by

October is Mental Health Month and to contribute towards efforts to raise awareness about mental health, I’ve compiled this list of 30 Studio Sessions based on prayers or excepts from the Baha’i Writings regarding healing and assistance with tests and difficulties.

Before we get to the list, please know that categorizing prayers and determining what a prayer is about, or supplicating for, is subjective! These are the passages that come to my mind when I think about healing and overcoming challenges but I’m sure there are other prayers you turn to–and if they’ve been sung in our Studio Session series and I haven’t included them below, please add them in the comments section!

Mental Health Month runs all October long so we’ll be posting more content as the month unfolds but to kick things off, we shared a special collection of Baha’i Blog content (articles, songs, videos, and other resources) on the spiritual principles of health, healing and overcoming difficulties.
