El Punto Primordial (The Great Announcement) – European Baha’i Choral Festival 2019

“El Punto Primordial” is the tenth song from the European Baha’i Choral Festival that was held from May 29 – June 2, 2019 at the Baha’i House of Worship in Langenhain, Germany. This Spanish song was composed and conducted by Pierre Weber. The song is based on excerpts from the Writings of the Bab.

Here is a translation of the words sung:

I am the Primal Point, that hath created all things.

I am the face of God whose splendor will never be tarnished.

I am the light of God, whose brightness can never weaken.

I am the Mystical Temple, built by the Almighty.

I am the Great Announcement. I am the Primal Point.

Verily, I am only a ring placed on the finger of him whom God shall make manifest.
