Abdu’l-Baha was the eldest son of Baha’u’llah. When Abdu’l-Baha passed away on 28 November 1921, He was eulogized as One who led humanity to the “Way of Truth,” as a “pillar of peace” and the embodiment of “glory and greatness.”
“Fleeting Moment” is the fourth song from the European Baha’i Choral Festival that was held from May 29 – June 2, 2019 at the Baha’i House of Worship in Langenhain, Germany. This English song was composed and conducted by Lorraine Manifold and is based on a Hidden Word by Baha’u’llah.
Lyrics & Quote
Live then the days of thy life, that are less than a fleeting moment, with thy mind stainless, and thy heart unsullied. Live then the days of thy life, that are less than a fleeting moment, so that free and content, thou wilt put away this mortal frame, and fly to the mystic paradise and abide in the eternal realm, forever more.
