“Suojele Meitä” is the fifth song from the European Baha’i Choral Festival that was held from May 29 – June 2, 2019 at the Baha’i House of Worship in Langenhain, Germany. This Finnish song was composed by Alan Manifold and conducted by Lorraine Manifold. It is based on a prayer revealed by the Bab.
FINNISH
Mitaamattomasti ylistetty olet Sinä, oi Herra! Suojele meitä, siltä, mikä on edessämme ja takanamme, päämme yläpuolella, oikealla puolellamme, vasemmalla puolellamme, jalkojemme alla ja kaikilla muilla suunnilla, joille olemme alttiina. Totisesti Sinun suojelusi ylitse kaiken on pettämätön.
The Bab
ENGLISH
Immeasurably exalted art Thou, O Lord! Protect us from what lieth in front of us and behind us, above our heads, on our right, on our left, below our feet and every other side to which we are exposed. Verily, Thy protection over all things is unfailing.
