Baha’is believe in the power of prayer and you’ll find Baha’is and their friends, throughout the world, getting together to pray. This is often referred to as a ‘devotional gathering’ or ‘devotional meeting’, and they happen in diverse settings, whether in cities or villages.
This is the third episode of “The Universe Within” series, an initiative by that same name. This creative endeavour shares quotations from the Baha’i Writings with artists around the world and the end result is a multi-media exploration of an elevated idea. In the third episode of the series, artists and creatives discuss social and spiritual transformation in the context of racial justice.
The quotations from the Bahaʼi Writings for this episode include:
“In this black pupil you see the reflection of that which is before it, and through it the light of the Spirit shines forth.”
“Let your heart burn with loving kindness for all who may cross your path.”
“Consider the flowers of a garden. Though differing in kind, color, form and shape… this diversity increaseth their charm and addeth to their beauty.”

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of country throughout Australia.
We recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and community. We pay our respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their cultures; and to elders both past and present.
