Ridvan celebrates Baha’u’llah’s time in 1863 in the garden of Ridvan in Baghdad when He publicly declared His station as a Manifestation of God. The Ridvan Festival is 12 days long and is also the time of year when Baha’is elect their governing bodies.
In this talk, Dr. Abdu’l-Missagh Ghadirian shares with us the story of Ahmad to whom the well-known Tablet of Baha’u’llah is addressed. This talk was delivered online in February 2023.
Dr. Abdu’l-Missagh Ghadirian is a professor emeritus at McGill University, Faculty of Medicine in Montreal. He is a Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. As a physician, author and researcher he has published extensively in scientific journals and has spoken on social, psychological and current issues around the world. His current interest is the exploration of the relationship between spirituality and science in the advancement of civilization.
