Baha’is believe in the power of prayer and you’ll find Baha’is and their friends, throughout the world, getting together to pray. This is often referred to as a ‘devotional gathering’ or ‘devotional meeting’, and they happen in diverse settings, whether in cities or villages.
In this talk, produced by Bahaiteachings.org, author and artist Misha Blaise has researched the science that explains our connection with the world and with each other. For Misha, that research led her to the question: “What can I do as an artist to promote unity?” Her new book This Phenomenal Life is her answer—and in this talk, she explores the remarkable scientific basis for human connectedness, relatedness and the fact that we are one human family.
Curious to know more about Misha Blaise? You can read an interview with her, here on Baha’i Blog — we also showcase some of her art from This Phenomenal Life.
You can also listen to our blogcast with Rainn Wilson where he interviews Payam Zamani, co-founder of Bahaiteachings.org.
